First of all you have to install the program.
After you install it you will have to take out the Epson
monitor status direct access from the start menu. Put it in
some place where you can find it. (See how you can do it
here)
Then restart the machine. And now
you can run the program.
For those who has Epson 777 use
the 680 option.
It is possible to receive a windows saying
that the printer doesn't response when it is trying to get the
ink levels. Don't worry the program always says that when you
start the program. Just press the "ok" button.
After that
press the "reset" button. If you see that the program freezes
(there is no response) let it up to 2-3 minutes.
after
that (if you don't receive any message) close the application
and the chip must be reseted.
Important: If you get the
response problem in this last step again then you will have to
try it again because it didn't work.
When you finish all
of the above put the Epson status monitor direct access in the
same place you took it from (start menu). Restart again the
machine and you will see that the cartridge is
reseted.

The program works on
windows xp but you have to do it under 95/98/me compatibility.
Go to the .exe file and change the compatibility from
properties.
No USB
support. Only parallel port.

In the
link below you will find the c60 resetter but it is only a
demo. I won´t be able to tell you if it works because I
haven´t tried it but they told me it does. I can say that you
can reset only the black cartridge and you will have to do it
running your machine in windows 98/ME. So in case you have
windows xp, find a 98/ME boot disk and start the machine in
simple mode (without cd-rom compatibility) using the boot
disk. The program runs in DOS mode. I hope you can use
it.
